About Me

Christy is a Vancouver-based freelance photographer and designer.

Who am I?

I am a senior design student at the School of Interactive Arts and Technology at Simon Fraser University. I specialize in UX, and have a keen interest in branding, visual design, and interaction design. Since 2015, I’ve been running my freelance photography business, and have been lucky enough to collaborate with a number of local business owners and makers to create meaningful content for their digital marketing channels.

What do I believe in?

These days, social media often gets a very bad rep. However, I believe that social media is an immensely powerful tool that can connect people in meaningful ways when shaped and used in the right way. That’s why I make it my priority to spend time with each of my clients so I have time to really discover who they are, so that the passion they put into their work shines through the visuals I create for them.

Empathy and honesty lie at the core of both my photography business and my design process.
